Meet Matthew:

Matthew is a licensed therapist who takes a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, viewing healing as a process that involves the mind, body, relationships, and the stories we tell about ourselves. Grounded in narrative therapy, he helps clients explore how past experiences, beliefs, and cultural influences have shaped their identities, while supporting them in authoring new stories rooted in agency, meaning, and self-compassion. He specializes in working with addiction and recovery, understanding substance use and compulsive behaviors as adaptations to pain, stress, or disconnection rather than personal failures. His work focuses not only on reducing harmful behaviors, but on supporting the whole person—strengthening emotional regulation, restoring a sense of purpose, and rebuilding trust in oneself and others. Mindfulness is woven throughout his clinical work as a practical and experiential tool for healing. Through mindfulness practices, clients are supported in developing greater awareness of their inner world, learning to relate differently to cravings, difficult emotions, and ingrained patterns. These practices help cultivate presence, resilience, and a deeper connection to values that guide lasting change. Matthew works with adults and teens seeking a more balanced, intentional, and embodied way of living. He offers a calm, collaborative space where growth is supported through curiosity, compassion, and respect for each individual’s unique path
